Petey Pencil is a magical talking pencil that Matt needed when he ran out of pencils to use when his own pencil broke during class. It is hinted he may be an angel sent by God to Matt as a response to his prayer. Based on the fact that he is a pencil, it is implied that BuddyComics uses him often since BuddyComics always has a pencil for when he makes comics.
Background[]
Petey Pencil was a pencil that jumped out of nowhere onto Matt's desk when Matt's pencil broke. Matt then happily took Petey as a response to his prayers and later sharpened him, which seemed to kill him.
Death[]
Petey Pencil supposedly died after Matt sharpened him and he was last seen screaming with part of his body missing. Despite being dead, he is always shown in the entire cast shot wallpapers with all of the characters in Parker Lot.
Tributes[]
Following his death, an obituary was put in the school's newspaper, as written by Jim. The following week, a funeral was held and it was attended by every single student in the school, including the teachers and the principal, who even shed a tear.
